A real Christian is not a “too good to be true” person, but a sinner who is saved to serve.

A Christian or (Christ -one) is someone who belongs to Christ. It all begins through a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Unless a man is born-again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. (John 3:3). Jesus is explaining the importance of a spiritual rebirth, sayingwe are not saved by living a better life, but by being spiritually reborn.

The Bible tells us that we are separated from God because of sin and for this reason all men die. But God’s gift to us , though undeserving, is eternal life through the death andresurrection of Jesus Christ. When we admit our sin and put our faith in Jesus, God promises that our sins are forgiven.

As Christians we try to live in a way that honours God and is true to Bible teaching, and we do this not in our own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.

To build our relationship with Jesus, we pray, we read the Bible and we meet together to worship God and encourage each other. We also try to share our faith with others as we reach out with the compassion of Jesus to our neighbours and those in need.
